Came Too Late For Climate To Benefit Him

(From Saturday's Daily)

After a residence of less than two weeks, M. J. Dougherty, of Redlands, Cal., passed away on Thursday at his home in the western part of the city.

With his estimable wife, he sought relief in this altitude for tuberculosis, but the fatal affliction had made such progress that the inevitable faced him.

During his brief residence he and his wife made many warm friends, and much sympathy is expressed for the latter in the bereavement she bears.

The deceased was a native of Dublin, Ireland, coming to the United States when a boy of eight years. He was aged only 28 years.

He will be laid away in this city by Lester Ruffner.

He has a sister in California.

Transcriber's note: Mr. Dougherty is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
