| Arizona Daily Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, March 21, 1908, page 8, column 2 Verdict Of Suicide A verdict of suicide was rendered by the coroner’s jury, yesterday morning at 9 o’clock, in the matter of the death of Phillip Richardson, who was found dead in his cabin, Thursday evening at 6 o’clock, with two bullet wounds in his head. ----------------------------------------------- Prescott Morning Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Monday, March 30, 1908, page 4, column 1 The funeral of the late Philip Richardson took place at 3:3- p.m. from Ruffner's undertaking parlors yesterday. The services both at the parlors and at the grave, were conducted by Rev. Father Bennet, of St. Luke's Episcopal church. At the parlors, a male quartet sang an anthem, to piano accompaniment. Burial was held in the Citizens' cemetery. The pall bearers were: Sheriff Lowry, Thomas Simmons, Gus Rodenburg, Jos. Schuler, Tim Hussy and E. A. Rogers. The late Philip Richardson was born in New Jersey, April 5, 1834. He came to Arizona in 1866.
