Dennis Odean Johnson, 66, of Lake Havasu City, passed away June 12,
2017. He was born in Rochester, Minnesota on May 11, 1951 to parents
Arden and Vivian Johnson.

Dennis lived in Minnesota until his family moved to Lake Havasu City
in 1966. He graduated from Kingman High School in 1969. Dennis
enjoyed competitive skiing in his early days, taking occasional
trips to the Avi Casino with family, playing online poker, fishing
with his son, enjoying beers with friends, and making small talk
with his customers at Smith’s where he was employed in the produce
section.

Dennis was a good man who loved his family with all his heart. He
was a funny and caring soul. He will be greatly missed by all who
knew and loved him.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his ex-wife and best friend Karen Meixner, son
Ryan Johnson, stepson Shawn Whitehead, daughter Andrea Helart,
stepdaughter Sarah Kocher, brother Rick Johnson and several
grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Western Arizona
Humane Society.

We invite family, friends and all who wish to honor Dennis to join
his family at The Desert Martini for a “Celebration of Life” at 5:30
p.m., Tuesday, June 20. This will be a time to tell stories, laugh,
and celebrate his memory.
