Daniel Smith, 52, of Lake Havasu City, lost his hard-fought battle
with cancer on June 3, 2017.

Born March 20, 1965 in Lynwood, California, he was the son of Bobby
and Nancy Smith.

Dan attended and graduated from LaSerna High School in Whittier,
California. He was employed with Lawson Products as a sales
representative.

Those who knew Dan said he had an easygoing nature but could be
cranky at times. He had a strong love for family and close friends.
He was very passionate about trout fishing, fly fishing, watching
NASCAR, cooking, and playing Frisbee golf. Dan loved animals and had
some great pets over the years. He loved his country and music.

In Arizona, his family fortunately got to spend the last year and a
half with Dan living here. Great times were spent in the mountains,
going out on Razor rides, hanging out, and playing games. It was
great for his family to have Dan so near.

Dan was preceded in death by his daughter, Emily Ruth Smith.

He is survived by his parents, Bobby and Nancy Smith of Lake Havasu
City, son Bryan Daniel Smith of Seattle, daughters Brittany Smith of
Victorville, California and Jennifer Smith of Fort Collins,
Colorado, brother, David (Tammie) Smith of Lake Havasu City and two
grandsons, Ryan and Shane.

Make donations in Dan’s name to Hospice of Havasu or the Western
Arizona Humane Society.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Send
