Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Monday, July 24, 2017 <<< Mary Jane Loeffler, 96, passed away June 28, 2017 at Prestige Assisted Living in Lake Havasu City. She was born in July 24, 1920 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A devout Catholic, Mary went to St. Basil High School in Pittsburg. She worked as a bookkeeper for Baptist Hospital in Miami, Florida, retiring from there at age 75. She lived in the Bahamas for eight years. She was a fabulous seamstress and loved animals. Mary experienced Hurricane Andrew in 1992, losing her home. She moved to Lake Havasu City in 2005. Mary is survived by her daughters Dale (Rick) Pryor and Dorann (David) Truesdell, both of Lake Havasu City, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Loeffler , son Robert Loeffler and grandson Mark Loeffler. The family is having a private celebration of life, with burial in Miami, Florida. |
