John Theodore Barber was born November 1st, 1944 in Branford, CT. He
proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1963 to 1967.

During that time he served 15 months in Vietnam where he met many
lifelong friends.

John was a man innately full of love.

He spent much of his life spreading kindness to strangers and
unconditional love to those lucky enough to be in his life. Above
all John loved without judgment. His passion for life was matched by
his love of people.

His love of those he chose to call his family was beyond measure.

John leaves behind Scott, Ansley, Jaden and Paige Silvernagel; his
Arizona family who love him dearly.

Rest in peace John, for you are now our angel in heaven just as you
were in life.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 4th
2017 at the Verde Valley Military Service Park on S Brian Mickelsen
Pkwy in Cottonwood, AZ with a procession immediately following to
the American Legion Post 25 for a Celebration of Life.
