James Ronals (J.R./Jim) Moore

James Ronald (JR/Jim) Moore, age 84 of Prescott, Arizona, passed
away after a brief illness on June 8, 2017, in Tyler, Texas. He was
born Aug. 23, 1932, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Clarence
Arnold Moore and Melba Dorothy Enlow Moore.

He was a member of Granite Peak Universalist Unitarian Church in
Prescott, Arizona. He was by profession a programmer/analyst with
Delta Drilling and retired from Hunt Oil. His favorite hobbies were
bird watching and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Moore; wife, Frances
Moore, mother of his children; and grandson, James Edward Marsden.
He is survived by three children, James C. Moore, Calista Janeen
Moore of Tyler, Texas; Veronica Arleen and husband, Charles Marsden
of Georgia and three step-children, Bill Staples and wife, Kyra and
their children, Alison and Joshua; Jeanne Staples Case and husband
Edwin, Patti Staples and children Anthony, Zachery and Benjamin Bean
and Benjamin’s daughter, Stella, Jennifer Perrin and husband,
Sananda and their daughter, Willow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the
Audubon Society, the public library of one’s own choosing, Granite
Peak Universalist Unitarian Congregation or the Prescott Unitarian
Universalist Fellowship.

A Memorial Service will be held at Granite Peak Universalist
Unitarian Congregation, 882 Sunset Avenue, Prescott, Arizona, 86305
at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017.
