Madge Roberta (Phillips) Klinger

Madge Roberta Klinger, 101, passed away, May 13, 2015 in Lake Havasu
City. She was born, Feb. 13, 1914 in Logan, Ohio to Murray Sylvester
and Della (Krinn) Phillips.

Madge was a true pioneer of Lake Havasu City, moving here 53 years
ago, coming from Logan, Ohio where she resided for 48 years. She
married her husband, Harold Elmer Klinger in Logan, Ohio, Oct. 3,
1936.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church; Miller Chapel and Hocking
County Granges in Logan, Ohio as well as several clubs. In Lake Havasu
City, she belonged to the Republican Women's election precinct at Mt.
Olive Lutheran Church and was a member of the Gem and Mineral Society.

Madge is survived by her nieces and nephews, Patricia Proverbs of
Henderson, Nev., Phyllis Schneider of Simi Valley, Calif., Marjorie
Theophilus of Lake Havasu City, Adam and Megan Theophilus of Pueblo,
Colo., Robert, Curtis, Wenda and Harold Phillips and Patsy, George and
Gene Klinger of Logan, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Elmer Klinger; son,
Richard Eugene Klinger; brothers, Murray "Buss" Phillips and Wendell
Phillips; sister, Charlisse Scott; nephew, Roy J. Scott; niece, Carol
Phillips and great-nephew, Owen Scott Theophilus.

Graveside service and Interment will be Friday, May 22, at Oak Grove
Cemetery in Logan, Ohio.
