Sandy (Sandra Lee) Baker, 62, reluctantly left Lake Havasu City,
Saturday May 2, 2015 just before dawn of another favorite sunny blue-
sky day.

Arriving in Lake Havasu City in April 2000 Sandy believed she found
where she was meant to be. She loved the weather, the desert
environment, the wildlife that shared her backyard, the slower pace,
the friends she met, and her home, which was her haven.

Sandy had a very giving nature, more concerned about others than about
herself. Those who knew her best, experienced her honesty and
integrity, her impatience with pretense, her “glass half-full”
attitude, and her ever-present sense of humor. Just as she believed
that there were “no bad days” in Lake Havasu City, she lived her
belief that everything was better with laughter.

Sandy took pride in her work and gave her best to Bradley Ford for 15
years. The generosity and thoughtfulness demonstrated by Mike and her
co-workers during her illness were much appreciated by Sandy. She
would want us to thank each of you.

Sam leaves behind a family that adored her; (her dad, two sisters and
their spouses; her favorite niece and nephew) and a multitude of other
Seattle-native relatives that have had to be content with rare “summer
only” visits since Lake Havasu captured her heart.

Special thanks to Dr. Nicholas Roman and the amazing staff at
Radiology Oncology Clinic for their professionalism, compassionate
care, and the greatest gift of listening and providing what was
important to Sandy. Heartfelt thanks to the entire staff of Hospice of
Havasu; we would not have made it through those last weeks without
your guidance and support. There will be no services per Sandy’s
request but we know she’d agree to a beer in her honor and donations
to Hospice of Havasu. We miss her too.

Condolences can be sent to the family through
www.lakehavasumortuary.com.

Arrangements are under the care of Lake Havasu Mortuary & Crematory,
Veteran & Family Owned.
