Funeral services are pending at Ruffner's Funeral Home. ---------------------------------------------- Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, March 15, 1965, page 1, column 1 Rites To Be Tuesday For Ted Crites Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Ruffner Funeral Home for Ted Theodore Crites, who died Thursday, March 11, in the Yavapai Community Hospital. Rev. C. R. Carfrey, pastor of the Hillcrest Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Mr. Crites, well-known locally as an independent trucker and hauler, was born July 5, 1898, in Safford. He has resided in Prescott since he was 12 years old. He is survived by his widow, Lula, of Downey, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Jean Beam, of Prescott; three brothers, Frank L., of Prescott, William, of Oxnard, Calif., and Charles Ham, of Gardena, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Salix (sic Selleck), of Bagdad, and Mrs. Hattie Ham, of Los Angeles, Calif.; his mother, Mrs. Alice James, of Phoenix; and two grandchildren.
