The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, March 14, 2016, page 7a Steve Victor Apolinar, age 63, born Dec. 29, 1954, born and raised in Prescott, Arizona, passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 8, 2018. Steve grew up in Prescott, attended Prescott High School and graduated in 1973. He worked for Bagdad Mine and Wilson Electric. Steve loved woodworking, was a member of Prescott Rodeo Assoc., and Lions Club. Anyone who knew Steve, knew his love for spending time with his family and friends. He helped raise his two twin nieces, Monica and Mellisa. Steve had a quiet demeanor, but would always help anyone in need. Steve was preceded in death by his mom, Lucia Maria Apolinar; dad, Jose Luz Apolinar; his brothers, Joe Jr., Felix, Alfred and Jimmy; sisters, Isabelle, Theresa and Louise. Steve is survived by sisters, Tricia, Babs and Elsie; brothers, Ike, Robert (Gordo), Joseph, Dave, Tom, Tim and Shorty; God-daughter, Monica; and various nieces and nephews, cousins, and a lifetime of friends. Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at 11 a.m. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Heritage Memory Mortuary.
