Negro Died

Reports from Humboldt received yesterday morning stated that Frank
Collier, a negro, aged 23 years, passed away after a short illness.

He was formerly a resident of this city, and a short time ago went to
the Smelter City to reside.

He was accompanied by his mother and sister.

Collier leaves a wife and two small children.

His funeral will take place today and Maus & Shannon will conduct it
at Humboldt.

Transcriber's note: It is possible that Mr. Collier is buried at the
Humboldt Cemetery, but there are no records to show his exact place of
burial.
