| The Deseret News, Salt Lake City, Utah Monday, February 16, 2004 Kevin Dean Stokes 1964 ~ 2004 Kevin Dean Stokes, 39 of Prescott, Arizona died on February 8, 2004 in an auto accident in the beautiful mountains he loved. He was born on September 16, 1964 to E.J. Stokes & Pat Stokes Mower. Kevin was born in Lompoc, California. Raised in California, Georgia, Utah and then moved to Arizona. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He attended college, was on the honor roll, was involved with many charities, loved nature and the American Indian Culture. His daughter, Gabrielle, was his great love. Kevin graduated from Bountiful High School, attended college, served in the US Army. He is survived by his two year old daughter Gabrielle, his sister, Shauna (Brian) Harrel, and brother, Steven Stokes, his father, E.J. (Betty) Stokes and his mother, Pat (Heber) Mower and many aunts, uncles, cousins, step-brother and step-sisters. He is preceded in death by his brother, Bryant stokes, and both sets of grandparents. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the North Salt Lake 13th Ward; 261 East Center Street; N. Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 6 - 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery Directors, Garner Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a Trust Fund for his daughter Gabrielle. "We will be known forever by the tracks we leave."
