Published in Today's News Herald from Sept. 19 to Sept. 20, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - George Robert Schneller, 85, passed away September 15, 2018 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Milton Schneller and Leona Schneller on January 27, 1933 in Chicago, IL. George married the love of his life Mary Schneller on October 10, 1959 and spent 47 wonderful years together. They moved from Hacienda Heights, CA to Lake Havasu in 1995. George provided for his wife and family as a truck driver at 3 companies over the 47 years he was employed. George was proud to have served his country in the Korean war. He received The Korean Service Ribbon, The National Defense Service medal, United Nations Service medal and the Republic of Korea Presidential unit citation. He became a dedicated member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. And was also was an avid Teamsters member. George leaves behind his son Christian (Cheryl) Joseph Sonne of Lake Havasu City, AZ, his brother Tom Jones of CA, his sister Jean Gergets of WI, his 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
