Weekly Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, May 26, 1915, page 4, column 2 Another Victim Of White Plague (From Wednesday's Daily) Elbert Bobo, a young man of 29 years, is a victim of tuberculosis, his death taking place yesterday afternoon at the home of his mother, near the baseball park. His struggle to prevent the inevitable made him a host of friends, and sorrow is expressed over his loss. He arrived in this city over five years ago, and when his physical condition would permit, his industrious disposition manifested itself in performing light work, in order to lessen the burden of his maintenance. Personally he was genial and he made many friends. Surviving is a mother and a brother, who accompanied him here from Ohio. The funeral takes place Thursday from the home. Transcriber's note: Mr. Bobo is buried at the Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. See Also: Arizona Gravestone Photo Project |
