Published in Today's News Herald on Sept. 24, 2018- Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Marguerite L. Williams passed away September 19, 2018. Born Oct. 20, 1925 in Winooski, Vermont, she is the daughter of Joseph and Eugenia Lessard. Marguerite graduated from Winooski High School and St. Mary's School of Nursing in Lewiston, Maine. She worked as a RN in the Maine, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Florida. Upon her husband's retirement in 1984, they moved from Massachusetts to Cape Coral, Florida. In September 1995, they moved to Lake Havasu City to be closer to family. She was preceded in death by her husband Don in 2002 after 50 years of marriage. Also son David from California in 2012, her parents, one brother and three sisters. She is survived by four grandchildren: Stephanie from Massachusetts, Danielle Atlas, Brian Williams, Lisa Rizzato from California, one great-grandson and three great-granddaughters, all from California, brother Jean from Alabama and niece Vanessa Rhodes from Arizona plus many other nieces and nephews. She was a volunteer at the soup kitchen at Our Lady of the Lake, a member of the Havasu Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and volunteered for many years at St. Vincent de Paul.
