Emma (Belle) (Darden) Butler

Services for Mrs. Belle D. Butler, 83, who moved to Phoenix 55 years ago from Pasadena, Calif., will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams.

Mrs. Butler, 410 W. McNeil Drive, died Sunday in Upward View Nursing Home. She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientists, a 50-year member of Roosevelt Neighborhood Womens Club, a past president and life member of the PTA. She was born in Wilmington, N.C.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Leonard T. Spooner of Phoenix, Mrs. Don Horner of Las Altos, Calif.; a son, Dr. L. N. Butler of Phoenix; three brothers, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The family suggests contributions to the Pilgrim Playground Camp Fund. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
