| Lima News (Lima, Ohio) Friday, August 24, 2018 LIMA--Esther M. Stauffer, 92, died at 1:50 AM on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at St. Rita's Medical Center, in Lima, Ohio. Esther was born on January 8, 1926, in Lima, Ohio to the late John Wimmer and Marie (Meuhldorf) Wimmer. On Saturday, June 3, 1950, in 1st E & R Church, Lima, OH, she married John R. "Dick" Stauffer, who preceded her in death on October 20, 2000. She had worked for over 40 years at the City Loan as a secretary and also in advertizing. She was a member of the Evangelical & Reformed Church, Moose Lodge-Indian Lake #1533, Eagles Aerie and American Legion. She is survived by two nieces, Linda Krueger of Indian Lake, OH, Beverly (Oscar) Alban, of Holly springs, GA., and one nephew Edmund (Diane) Zapp of Wickenburg, AZ; several great nieces and a great nephew. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 27th, 2018 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Chamberlin-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2018 the funeral home. Pastor Gary Beatty will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
