Las Vegas Sun, Las Vegas, Nevada Wednesday, May 1, 2002 Betty M. Johnston, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born April 17, 1930, in Camp Verde, Ariz. A resident for 14 years, she was a grocery store cashier. She is survived by her husband, George; four sons, Bobby Byars of Flagstaff, Ariz., Donald Byars of Mesa, Ariz., and Richard Johnston and Troy Johnston, both of Phoenix; two sisters, Laura Gregory of Cottonwood, Ariz., and Zola Stanford of Phoenix; and six grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-noon Thursday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements. |
