| Arizona Republic (Phoenix, Arizona) Tuesday, March 2, 1948, p. 3 Lula A. Boone Taken By Death Funeral services for Mrs. Lula A. Boone, 77 years old, will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon in Memory Chapel of A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary. Mrs. Boone died Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jennie I. Light, 1119 East Coronado road. Mrs. Boone, a winter visitor, was employed by Korrick's department store as an artist, decorating scarves and handkerchiefs, and was once an art student at the Las Vegas, N.M, art academy. Survivors are Mrs. Light and two sons, Reuben I. Boone, Silver City, N.M., and Robert P. Boone, Portland, Ore. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park with Myrtle E.
