Published by Today's News Herald on Mar. 10, 2024 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Marc Stephen Mabry, born on October 14, 1966, bid farewell to this world on February 23, 2024, following a long courageous battle with heart complications. His departure leaves a void in the hearts of many, but his spirit will forever resonate in the cherished memories he leaves behind. Born and raised in Long Beach, California, Marc was a proud graduate of R.A. Millikan High School. His journey led him to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where he spent the last two decades alongside his beloved soul mate and best friend, Debi. An exceptional carpenter renowned for his skill and craftsmanship, Marc's talents were sought after by many. Yet, it was his love for the outdoors that truly defined him. Whether hunting, fishing, or embarking on shooting adventures, Marc found solace and joy in nature's embrace. But Marc's legacy transcends his talents and hobbies. His kindness, generosity, and infectious sense of humor endeared him to all who crossed his path. His laughter, impactful and contagious, illuminated the lives of those around him. Marc had a remarkable gift for bringing smiles to faces and warmth to hearts. Marc is survived by his mother, Sharron, and stepfather, Jerry Daniels, his beloved Debi Ison, aunt Suzanne Lintonen (Mabry), his niece Faith (David) Klein, and his stepdaughter Amanda (Kevin) Barber. He is preceded in death by his father, Stephen Mabry, his sister Deanna Mabry, and his grandfather Morris Mabry. Marc humorously expressed his transition as 'buying the farm,' envisioning a tranquil place with a stream where he could fish to his heart's content. We take comfort in imagining him now, casting his line in the heavenly waters of his beloved farm. As we bid farewell to Marc, let us cherish his memory by embracing his great sense of humor, wit, and laughter. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives in the laughter and joy he brought into our lives. Marc Mabry will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in eternal peace. |
