Lara Lee Nellis-Querry passed away on March 7, 2024 after a long
illness. She was born in Long Island, New York on Sept. 30, 1962. She
moved to Lake Havasu City in 1973 and remained in Lake Havasu City for
much of her life. She always said she loved Lake Havasu City and never
wanted to live anywhere else.

Lara loved dogs and music. She was an amazing cook and seamstress. She
was an avid movie buff and considered the Harry Potter series as one of
her all-time favorites. She was always creating crafts and homemade
gifts for her grandchildren and family. Her greatest attribute was her
wicked sense of humor.

Steckler (Violet Steckler), her grandchildren Sally, Lilly, and Andrew
Steckler; her sisters Lynda Niichel and Lizz Nellis Dailey (Christopher
Dailey), her brother Andy Nellis, and her numerous nieces, nephews and
great nieces and nephews.

The surviving family will be holding a private celebration of life at a
later date.
