Roger Alan Johnson

Roger Alan Johnson passed away on Oct. 2, 2024, after a long, brave
struggle with Parkinsons. He is survived by his wife, Trina Johnson; two
younger brothers, Ronald and Russell; as well as two nephews and four
nieces. Roger was a resident of Arizona for 34 years while he worked for
Atlas Roofing as an electrical engineer. His life started on July 4, 1949
in Sterling, Ill. He grew up enjoying many outdoor activities such as
hiking, backpacking, and cross-country skiing. He was also a skilled
calligrapher. Through his life, Roger lived in a few different states,
starting with Indiana, Florida, California and, finally settling in
Arizona with his wife. Roger will be loved and remembered by all who knew
him. He was a light in this world that will be forever missed.
