| Published by Today's News Herald on Dec. 27, 2024 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Lloyd Lee Wells was born on December 20, 1942, to Berne and Ruby Wells in Pomona, CA. He passed away on December 21, 2024 in Tucson, AZ at the age of 82 after a long battle with cancer. Lloyd and his wife Pat became early pioneers of Lake Havasu City when they moved their young family there in 1970. He called Lake Havasu City home for over fifty years, where he set up and customized mobile homes with RiggWell Mobile Homes, installed carpet for Politano Carpet Center, managed the Nautical Inn warehouse, and finally retired as the Mohave Community College facilities manager. He and Pat were youth leaders and long-time members of the Lake Havasu Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by Pat, the love of his life and his greatest joy. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Merle and Dale. He is survived by his sons Scott and Dean Wells. A celebration of life will be held in Colorado with family and friends in the spring of 2025. |
