Published by Today's News Herald on Jan. 12, 2025 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - On 11-10-24 Helen "Renelle" Miller Collins lost her battle with a coma that left her in a vegetative state. Her wishes were carried out in releasing her from a fate she considered to be much worse than death. Her life was not given in vain... she was able to be the saving grace for two people in Arizona and one in Tennesse and allow for their families to keep them around for a little longer. We can not be happier to know that parts of her live on to help others live. She was born in 1954 in Texas to James Rainey and Helen "Nadine" Cook- Rainey. She was preceded in death by her parents, two of her siblings Richard and Ronnie Rainey and various extended family. She was widowed by her second husband Larry Collins as well. Who raised my little sister and she considered his kids to be family as well. She is survived by her loving boyfriend who we consider to be family even if they never got married with paper, Doug Doughty, her last remaining sibling Russell Rainey, her four children Tara, Reese, Jeremy Miller their father and first husband, Kerry Miller and her youngest child Jess Miller, two unofficially adopted kids Gianna and Anthony Scovone, 7 grand children: Ravin Ogden, Teagan Mullen, Cody, Rayven & Raynah Miller, Izabella and Ava miller and their unofficially adopted brother from another father Elijah Bellissimo, 3 great grandchildren: Aurora and Dani Hazen and Xenia Summerlin and various other family and friends and relatives who will miss her greatly. She also has many who she considered to be family from a very young age all the way up through her life.. just unofficially adopting them as she saw fit... She also considered her "girls" at work to be part of her heart as well. Lord knows we could not convince her to retire until He saw fit to call her home and tell her she could do no more...
